Kathy Groob is a great, great, great niece of the famous artist, Frank Duveneck. Her artwork and photography are expressions of her passion for nature, flowers, people, memorable places, light and clouds. Kathy is a contemporary artist, working with watercolors, pen and ink and acrylics on canvas. She generally paints from her own photographs and sketches and is inspired by the works of Georgia O’Keeffe, Frida Kahlo, Vincent VanGogh, Mary Cassatt, Andrew Wyeth, Marc Chagall, Paul Gauguin, Charley Harper, and of course Frank Duveneck.
