There’s something special percolating along Gulf Coast proclaimed Time Magazine
, which recently featured Sarasota among 99 other cities in its “World’s Greatest Places” listing. A few days earlier, U.S. News & World Report
placed Sarasota no. 9 on its annual ranking of the “best places to live”, a national grading of metro areas based on employment rates, affordability, desirability, quality of life and other lifestyle factors.
There’s no doubt, the secret is out. Sarasota’s emergence as a cultural hotspot and vibrant destination has set the bar ever higher and captured international attention. The city radiates special vibrancy from its artistic culture, immense draw from the beaches, and its unique food culture. For nearly a century, Sarasota’s crown jewel, St. Armands Circle, has stood as a center stage for this notable mix of the city’s best offerings and unique personality.
